Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. This policy outlines the cancellation, reschedule, and refund rules for services booked through Subscribe Handyman.
Customer Cancellations

More than 24 hours before appointment: Full refund. No cancellation fee.

Within 24 hours of appointment: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service price may apply to compensate the professional for reserved time.

No-show / inaccessible property: If the professional arrives and cannot access the property or reach the customer, the full service charge may apply.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule an appointment at no charge if the request is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Reschedule requests within 24 hours are treated as cancellations and the cancellation fee policy above applies.
Professional Cancellations
In the rare event that a professional cancels your appointment:

You will be notified promptly via push notification and email.

You will receive a full refund or the option to rebook with another available professional.

No cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.
Subscription Plans
If you are on a Subscribe Handyman subscription plan:

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

Any pre-booked appointments prior to cancellation will still be honored at the subscription rate.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank. Subscribe Handyman processes refunds promptly through Authorize.net upon approval.
Disputes
If you believe a charge was applied in error, please contact our support team within 48 hours of the appointment. We will review the case and respond within 2 business days.
