Subscribe Handyman (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Subscribe Handyman mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

We collect the following types of information when you use Subscribe Handyman:

Location (When in Use): We collect your precise location while the app is in use to match you with nearby handyman professionals and display service availability in your area.

Camera: We access your device camera to allow you to take photos of job sites, repair needs, or completed work.

Photo Library: We access your photo library so you can upload existing images to your service requests or job records.

Payment Information: Payment details (credit/debit card numbers, billing address) are collected and processed securely by our payment processor, Authorize.net. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Notifications: We collect device notification tokens to send you push notifications about booking confirmations, job updates, and service reminders.

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and service address provided when you create an account.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Booking: Your location is used to identify available handyman professionals near you and to calculate service areas and travel logistics.

Photo Uploads for Jobs: Camera and photo library access allows you and our professionals to document job conditions, progress, and completion for quality and accountability purposes.

Payment Processing: Payment information is used solely to process transactions for booked services through Authorize.net.

Push Notifications: We send push notifications to keep you informed about booking confirmations, technician arrival times, job status updates, and special offers.

Account Management: To create and manage your account, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.

Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our app, services, and user experience.
3. Third-Party Services
We share limited data with trusted third-party providers to operate our services:

Authorize.net (Payment Processing): Handles all credit and debit card transactions. Your payment data is governed by Authorize.net's privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.

Firebase (Push Notifications): Google Firebase is used to deliver push notifications to your device. Firebase may collect device identifiers and notification delivery data per Google's privacy policy.

Apple Maps / Google Maps (Location Services): Mapping services are used to display your location, show nearby professionals, and provide directions. These providers may collect location data as described in their respective privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 6 below). After a deletion request, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy
Subscribe Handyman is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via push notification or email. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
