Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Subscribe Handyman mobile application and services. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 

1. Acceptance of Terms
 

By accessing or using Subscribe Handyman, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
 

2. Description of Services
 

Subscribe Handyman is a platform that connects customers with independent handyman and home service professionals. We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between customers and service providers. Subscribe Handyman does not employ the service professionals directly; they are independent contractors.
 

3. Account Registration
 

You must create an account to use our services. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

• Maintain the security of your account password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
   

4. Bookings and Appointments
 

When you book a service through Subscribe Handyman:

• Bookings are subject to professional availability and confirmation.

• You agree to provide accurate service address and job description information.

• You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the work site.

• Subscribe Handyman reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, professional unavailability, or safety concerns.
   

5. Payments
 

All payments are processed securely through Authorize.net. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees for services booked through the app.

• Prices are displayed before booking confirmation.

• Additional charges may apply for scope-of-work changes agreed upon on-site.

• Charges are final upon service completion unless a valid dispute is raised within 48 hours.
   

6. Cancellation Policy
 

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for full details. In summary:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment: No charge.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment: A cancellation fee may apply.

• No-shows (professional arrives and cannot access the property): Full service charge may apply.
   

7. User Conduct
 

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws.

• Harass, threaten, or abuse service professionals or Subscribe Handyman staff.

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information or reviews.

• Attempt to circumvent the platform by booking or paying professionals outside the app after an initial introduction through Subscribe Handyman.

• Interfere with the app's security, systems, or functionality.
   

8. Limitation of Liability
 

Subscribe Handyman acts as a marketplace connecting customers and independent service professionals. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by independent professionals.

• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
   

9. Intellectual Property
 

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials in the Subscribe Handyman app are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
 

10. Termination
 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms our community or business. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.
 

11. Governing Law
 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Subscribe Handyman is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.
 

12. Changes to These Terms
 

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will provide notice of material changes via the app or email.
